Adrian Kowalewski
Description Adrian Kowalewski became a director of American Apparel upon consummation of the Acquisition (as defined under Corporate Governance and Board Matters below) on December 12, 2007, and is currently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. From June 2006 to December 2008, Mr. Kowalewski served as the Company's Director of Corporate Finance and Development, where his responsibilities have included finance, corporate strategy, and investor relations. From July 2003 to July 2004, he worked for Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin, where he participated in financial restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and private placements. From July 1999 to June 2002, Mr. Kowalewski worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group of CIBC World Markets in New York and London, where he was involved in advising public and private companies in North America and Europe on mergers and acquisition transactions. Mr. Kowalewski holds an A.B. with honors from Harvard University, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
